Ascendant Studios’ fantasy first-person shooter Immortals of Aveum has gone gold. The studio released a new trailer celebrating the fact while discussing their development journey. Check it out below.
In development for five years, Immortals of Aveum takes place in Aveum, with two superpowers – Rasharn and Lucium – caught in the Everwar. However, with Jak joining Lucium’s Order of the Immortals and capable of wielding all three Colors of magic as a Triarch Magus, they may stand a chance against annihilation.
While it’s a first-person shooter, Immortals of Aveum is about magic. Each Color has a specific function – Red is for up-close shots, Blue deals precision-based damage, and Green can home in on enemies. You also have a magical whip for grappling and pulling enemies close, an air dash and the ability to manipulate the environment.
