Street Fighter 6 has eighteen characters to choose from in its current roster, each of whom has a vast number of combos to memorize. This Street Fighter 6 guide outlines a single signature move that you can rely on in almost any fight.

Hadouken

Ryu

A Street Fighter classic, Ryu’s Hadouken is what comes to mind first whenever iconic character combos come up in conversation. You will learn this from Ryu immediately after becoming his student. A simple combo, when executed it shoots off a large electric blue fireball.

Hundred Hand Slap

Honda

Another oldie but a goodie, this is the first move learned from Edmond Honda after becoming his mentee. Unleash a furious flurry of open-handed slaps at an opponent, making for a fan-favorite multi-hit combo.

Electric Thunder

Blanka

Electrocution as a combat move has always been Blanka’s best method to keep some distance from grabby opponents. It is fast to pull off, and does not telegraph too much in advance of the end result.

Cannon Strike

Cammy

After arriving at the apex of her jump, Cammy comes down like a missile with one leg configured like a spike. This telegraphs a fair bit.

Mexican Typhoon

Lily

Squish your opponent’s head with your war clubs, then swing around and catapult them into the air, before smashing them back into the ground.

Siberian Express

Zangief

Close the distance on an opponent quickly and grab them up at the knees before somersaulting into air and smashing their head into the ground.

Embrace

JP

Conjure a clone that will grapple your opponent before exploding with Psycho Power. Distance determines how much this move will be telegraphed.

Phalanx

Marisa

This aerial punch is fast and effective and does not telegraph as much as Cammy’s Cannon Strike. The relatively low jump transitions quickly into a punch configured like a spike.

Etoile

Manon

A multi-kick move, it begins by sending your opponent airborne with a double kick, and then following up with another kick while they are still in the air.

Machine Gun Uppercut

Dee Jay

A counterpart to E. Honda’s Hundred Hand Slap, Dee Jay’s rapid-fire uppercuts will telegraph a lot more, but is rewarding in the damage it deals.

Yoga Lance

Dhalsim

One of Dhalsim’s classic moves, this punch can reach opponents from mid-range and does not telegraph much at all. The Yoga Lance is also an excellent move to deploy at aerial opponents.

Shoryuken

Ken

A classic power uppercut move, Shoryuken’s power is undeniable, especially versus aerial opponents, bringing them back down to earth.

Tensenrin

Juri

This windmill move consists of a series of kicks launching your opponent airborne, and juggling them there for long enough to end with a final kick back down to earth.

Sprint

Kimberly

Not really an offensive move, Kimberly’s Sprint is useful for closing the distance on an opponent. Other moves can be carried out in the course of Sprint.

Somersault Kick

Guile

An excellent counter to aerial opponents, Somersault Kick consists of a reverse somersault during which a full force kick is delivered on your opponent.

Spinning Bird Kick

Chun-Li

Chun-Li’s signature move that goes way back, this kick-based move does extensive damage. Chun-Li helicopters her legs, delivering multiple kicks on her opponent all while upside down.

Arrow Kick

Jamie

An anti-air move deployable against jump-based attacks, Arrow Kick starts low from ground-level, before following up with more kicks as you both ascend upwards into the air.

Avenger

Luke

A distance-closing non-offensive move, Avenger can be used in conjunction with Luke’s other moves during its duration.

Those are the best combos for each of Street Fighter 6’s current roster of characters.
