Street Fighter 6 - Guile

Street Fighter 6 drags the series into the modern era with the inclusion of in-game microtransactions. This obviously means that SF6 will also have its own proprietary currencies. The premium currency, dubbed “Fighter Coins”, is only accumulated through spending actual currency.

USD Fighter Coin Packs

Fighter Coins are effectively priced at just over 2 US cents per Coin, or $1 for 42 Coins, and are sold in bundles of predetermined quantities of Fighter Coins.

  • $4.99 for 210 Fighter Coins
  • $11.99 for 610 Fighter Coins (includes a 106 Fighter Coin effective bonus)
  • $23.99 for 1250 Fighter Coins (includes a 242 Fighter Coin effective bonus)
  • $49.99 for 2750 Fighter Coins (includes a 650 Fighter Coin effective bonus)

If you choose to indulge this, your biggest bang for your buck will obviously be from the largest pack, where every $1 nets you 55 Fighter Coins. Note that Coins should be prioritized for the Fighter Pass which is where you can potentially recoup some Fighter Coins at the end of the premium track. Next in importance would be DLC fighters, stages, slots, and lastly costumes/outfits.

Drive Tickets

The other in-game currency is the non-premium Drive Ticket which can be earned by accomplishing Challenges, whether Daily, Weekly, or Monthly. While Drive Tickets can buy most things from the in-game store that Fighter Coins can, you will require significantly more of them to do so–the effective equivalent being 1000 Drive Tickets for the purchasing power of just 50 Fighter Coins. Additionally, they cannot be used to unlock costumes, slots or DLC fighters, but only color, gear, emotes, and stickers. Rule of thumb should be not to buy anything with Fighter Coins that you can also buy with Drive Tickets.

And that is the selection of in-game currencies and their equivalent USD value, in the Street Fighter 6 in-game store.
